I would like to say thank you to all the teachers and staff that I met in CIA. Also, the friends from different nationalities. We help each other in class and travel together on weekends. They really help me a lot in studying and daily life in dormitory. To be honest, they really enrich my life in CIA.
Before coming here, I have lack of confidence in speaking English. I am afraid of making mistakes. However, I need to use English in my workplace because my customers are all foreigners. At that moment, it was the time I realized that I needed to give myself a chance to improve my English skill. It is a useful tool not only in workplace but also can imply in our daily life.
First of all, I choose to study in ESL course because I don’t have any plan for taking TOEIC or IELTS test. I still remembered the feeling of first day. It was really exhausted. I never speak English in a whole day before. Also, I felt shy to speak English in the beginning because I was not really used to it. However, practice makes perfect. I liked to share my options with my teachers during the class. We discussed about the social issues, country culture, tourist place, business, daily life and so on.
After five weeks of ESL course, I studied in business course. It was truly useful in my job. The textbooks and the vocabularies are all related to business. I learned lots of case studies and how to manage a successful company. Furthermore, I completed the presentation in front of teachers and students. I was pleased that I had the chance to share my work experience about my current job and previous experience in Australia.
To sum up, I am glad that I make the correct decision for myself to come here. I studied in weekdays and traveled on weekends. I would like to call the life here as “study holiday “. What I experienced here definitely was an unforgettable memory in my life.
