For the past month, I've been focused on TOEIC preparation at CIA Language School in Cebu. Every day is packed with classes, from one-on-one to small group sessions. The teachers are very attentive and provide guidance tailored to my weaknesses. It was quite stressful at first, but gradually, I've noticed improvements in my listening skills, and I've become more confident speaking in class. It's truly rewarding to feel this growth in such a short period of time.
Last month, I spent at LCIC, which was more like a period of adjusting to the English-speaking environment. Since transferring to CIA, the pace of study has significantly accelerated, and I've become more focused. Although every day is exhausting, seeing my classmates working hard keeps me motivated. After school, we often get together to practice speaking and share test scores, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. During my holiday, I traveled to Palawan and saw the underground river in Puerto Princesa and the dreamy rock formations of El Nido. Those few days allowed me to completely relax and return to class full of energy.
The rewards of this time weren't just my TOEIC scores. More importantly, I learned perseverance and self-discipline in the Philippines, and made friends who shared the joys of hard work and fun. My study abroad experience in Cebu will always remain in my heart and become a treasured memory.
