Regardless of nationality, there were many active people with strong communication skills. Because of this, everyone often invited each other to go out for meals or go somewhere together. I often went out with friends from Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. We celebrated friends’ birthdays, went to street food stalls, and ate many different kinds of food such as Korean food and Filipino food. In particular, lechon, a traditional Filipino dish, was very delicious. I also had many opportunities to travel with the friends I met at CIA. We went to Boracay Island by plane, traveled to Bohol Island by boat, and went to amusement parks. I was able to have many great experiences such as riding a motorbike to the Chocolate Hills, seeing sea turtles, and fishing. The ocean was very beautiful both in the morning and at night, and I was able to make wonderful memories. At CIA, I lived a very fulfilling life by participating in events such as Aqua Zumba, a Filipino dance activity, studying in the library, and learning how to play billiards from my friends. Because I had to wake up early every day for tests and also returned to my room around 11 or 12 at night, my daily routine naturally became more organized, something I could not fix while I was in Japan. Although I stayed in a single room, there was an orientation for Japanese students on the first day, so I was able to make friends immediately. Also, whenever I left my room, there were always friends around, so I never felt lonely. The food at CIA was very delicious and excellent. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and felt like a hotel. In addition, the classrooms and laundry facilities were nearby, which was very convenient. The teachers were very kind, and the classes were easy to understand. My IELTS score improved from around 5.0 to about 6.0, so I am looking forward to taking a public test after returning to Japan and making my parents happy. In particular, my listening and speaking scores improved significantly. The support from the Japanese manager was also very helpful, and I did not have any particular problems. People from many different regions and age groups gathered there, and I was able to make many good friends and have a wonderful time. It was such an environment that I even felt sad every time there was a graduation ceremony because I had made such good friends. These two months were the most intense and fastest-passing time of my life. I would like to come back to CIA again around summer.
