After quitting my job, I was wondering what to do next and decided to try studying English abroad. Among several academies, I chose CIA because I liked their facilities the most, and just as the reviews said, the facilities are excellent. I am currently studying in the ESL course. All the teachers are highly skilled, so I can ask them all sorts of questions, and since they also have American teachers, I can study native English as well. Furthermore, with a gym, library, cafeteria, and swimming pool—everything you could want—I feel like I’m on vacation. The meals are prepared by a Korean chef, so they suit Korean palates well. There are also many Korean restaurants nearby. After classes, a shuttle bus runs daily to Mactan New Town, making it convenient to travel downtown. Above all, what impressed me most was meeting friends from various countries, growing and communicating with one another, and creating memories by traveling to other islands together. I share a four-person room and was fortunate to meet wonderful roommates, so I am spending every day laughing and living happily. At first, even forming a single English sentence was difficult, but now, in my second month, my skills have improved significantly to the point where I can communicate reasonably well. I am spending a very meaningful time making many foreign friends while simultaneously improving my English skills.
