My recent trip to Cebu was an unforgettable experience, especially because I successfully earned my scuba diving certification. I completed my training at the Fantastic Diving Center, which is conveniently located near CIA. Since the instructor was someone I already knew, I received much more detailed and attentive guidance, which made me feel incredibly comfortable and safe throughout the process.

Last year, I came to the Philippines and simply enjoyed fun diving without much worry. However, this time was completely different. Learning specific emergency response procedures and practical diving skills required a much higher level of focus, making the experience far more rewarding. During my previous trip, I only went down to a depth of about 8 meters. This time, I dove down to 13 meters, where I witnessed a spectacular school of sardines and encountered three massive sea turtles. They were so large that I honestly felt too intimidated to reach out and touch them.

The training lasted for two days. The first day was dedicated to practicing essential underwater skills, while the second day involved applying those skills in real-world scenarios alongside the theoretical exam. I felt incredibly proud when the instructor praised me for being a quick learner. Moreover, the chef at the center prepared Korean food that perfectly suited my taste, leading me to eat three bowls of rice at every meal. This certification journey truly made my Cebu trip special.
