This language study abroad program provided me with a variety of experiences in Cebu. My visit to Kawasan Falls is particularly memorable. Canyoneering near the falls and feeling the cool waters wash over me felt like all my stress had melted away. Scuba diving and island hopping were also truly special experiences. Seeing tropical fish like Nemo and seeing the beautiful coral reefs up close was truly awe-inspiring. The fresh seafood we enjoyed onboard the boat during our island hopping was also unforgettable. We also visited Cebu City, where we enjoyed shopping at a large shopping mall and a variety of local Filipino dishes. The mango shake and lechon were particularly delicious, and the banana fritters we ate on the street were also memorable. This trip allowed me to experience the nature and culture of the Philippines firsthand, and it also rekindled my motivation to study English. If given the chance, I'd love to visit again.
