I studied for 1 month at CIA English School in Cebu, Philippines, and to be honest, I was quite shocked at first because of the tight schedule - from morning to afternoon, with almost no free time. But after about 1 week of getting used to it, I saw clear progress: my listening and speaking reflexes improved rapidly, especially through 1:1 classes with Filipino teachers - they were enthusiastic and had very clear pronunciation. At first, I was a bit worried about the food and dormitory environment, but after a few days, I got used to it, the international friends were cheerful, spoke English all day, so it created a really effective practice environment. Looking back, although it was quite tiring, it was a very worthwhile experience.
