Studying abroad in Cebu has been a transformative experience that I hope will benefit my future endeavors. When I first arrived in Cebu, I was faced with the challenge of learning English in an environment where my proficiency was minimal. I had very little speaking ability, which initially made communication and daily interactions quite daunting.

However, the immersion in an English-speaking environment proved to be invaluable. Living and studying in Cebu pushed me out of my comfort zone and into a setting where I had to use English daily. This constant practice allowed me to gradually improve my language skills. Initially, simple conversations were a struggle, but over time, I noticed significant progress. My confidence in speaking English grew as I engaged more in conversations with both locals and fellow international students.

One of the highlights of my time in Cebu was the opportunity to make numerous friends from around the world. The school environment was incredibly welcoming and diverse, with students from various countries coming together. This international exposure enriched my experience and broadened my cultural understanding. The friendships I formed not only made my stay more enjoyable but also provided me with a supportive network. These friendships helped me practice English in a more relaxed and friendly setting, further accelerating my language development.                   Our school offers an exceptional environment with its clean and modern facilities. The restaurant serves delicious meals that cater to diverse tastes. With a multicultural student body, you'll have the chance to interact with people from various backgrounds, enriching your global perspective. Additionally, the location in Cebu Island allows students to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings, from pristine beaches to vibrant local culture. This combination of excellent facilities, tasty food, cultural diversity, and an attractive location makes our school a fantastic choice for anyone looking to make the most of their educational experience.

Looking ahead, I believe that the skills and experiences I gained in Cebu will significantly influence my future. The ability to communicate effectively in English is a crucial asset in today’s globalized world, and the improvement I’ve achieved during my stay will undoubtedly benefit my career and personal life. The exposure to different cultures and the ability to adapt to new environments are also invaluable traits that will aid me in future endeavors.

In particular, I have a dream of going to Canada on a working holiday after I finish my time at the CIA. To achieve this, I need to study hard now, and I think this will motivate me to study English.

In conclusion, my time in Cebu has been a remarkable journey of personal and linguistic growth. From starting with minimal English skills to making lasting friendships and gaining a global perspective, the experience has equipped me with the tools and confidence needed for the future. I am grateful for the challenges and opportunities I encountered and am optimistic about applying these lessons to achieve my goals.

I would like to continue to use English to converse with people from all over the world and broaden my world.

And finally, I want to tell everyone who is thinking about studying abroad that they should definitely come. There are people of many nationalities and a wide range of ages here. It is a good experience in life to have more opportunities to interact with people who I would not have met in Japan and to make friends with them. I feel that the world I live in is very small. Because when I was in Japan, I never thought about religion or differences in lifestyle. I was resistant at first to living in the same room as people of different nationalities, but now I find it stimulating and fun. Sometimes I struggle with cultural differences, but I would say that almost everyone at CIA is kind and has a good personality. So you can enjoy and I recommend studying abroad.
