I took the ESL course for the first month, and since then, I've been studying English by switching to the IELTS course. The classes are more intense than I expected, and while they can be physically demanding, I can definitely feel my skills improving. The teachers were also passionate and provided thorough feedback, which was a huge help in my studies. The speaking and writing feedback was particularly helpful. Another advantage was the ability to travel to various places, such as the islands surrounding Cebu and Cebu City, on weekends. I often traveled to the islands around Cebu on weekends. On Bohol Island, I was able to experience Philippine nature and culture firsthand by seeing the Chocolate Hills and the tarsiers. On Bantayan Island, I was able to recharge by snorkeling and swimming in the beautiful ocean in a leisurely atmosphere. Attending the CIA Language Institute allowed me to balance my studies and travels, which enriched my experience. While my time at the institute was challenging, it was also an opportunity for me to grow and gain valuable experience.
